We started out by trying to find someone to build a website for the community. There were two problems. It was all too expensive and the people we talked to seemed, to put it mildly, ....unreliable.

So we set out on an adventure of "web discovery". It wasn't too difficult. The skills came fairly easily to two computer-literate individuals. We mastered the graphics and web tools ("Illustrator", "Photoshop", "Flash", "FrontPage" and "Dreamweaver" ), arranged hosting with a very helpful supplier and came very quickly to the conclusion that web design and creation was nothing to do with the nerdy technicalities. It's all about content.

After running our community sites for five years it occurred to us that individuals, small businesses and community groups might be able to benefit from our experiences. So we set up Trouble Brothers, not to cause it but to sort it out.

If you are a commercial organisation, we will happily charge you for our time and effort in line with our price list.

If you are starting out as a small local business or you are a charity based organisation, we will not charge more than it costs us to set up and run your web site, similar to the way we manage www.leonardstanley.org.uk,where we do all the work on a voluntary basis and the community pays for the hosting costs.
